DENGLU VILLAGE

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STUDIO - POLITECNICO MILANO In this project, we designed within a traditional Chinese village in collaboration with Zhejiang University in China. We conducted in-depth research into the culture and philosophy of the Miao minority, which formed the foundation for our design of both residential and public spaces. All elements were integrated into the master plan as part of a cohesive design strategy. Our focus was on creating a thoughtful and respectful fusion of tradition and modernity, with innovative, sustainable, and efficient architecture that honors local building traditions, culture, and resources.
